mila's story

Ever since I was a little girl growing up in the U.S.S.R, (Russia), I loved how radiant my mother looked after coming back from her local beauty salon. When I was older, I convinced my mother to take me with her. I would watch and admire how the stylists were able to enhance her natural beauty and make her feel special. To me, it was all about art. I knew then, that when I grew up, I wanted to make people look and feel good about themselves. When we immigrated to the United States in 1979, I was given the opportunity to follow my dream.

I have been a hair care specialist for 25 years. I opened my first signature salon in Minneapolis, Minnesota and then relocated my business to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1998. My work at Salon Mila allows me to continue to fulfill the dream I had as a little girl. It is with pride that I look forward to enhancing the natural beauty of my clientele at Salon Mila.
